Workshop Encore: Promoting Flu Vaccines at the Workplace

Encourage employees to get vaccinated and keep your workplace healthy and productive

The entire process was very well run and the wait time between the different procedures was short. I was very impressed that the staff made the effort to learn some basic Chinese to help patients.

As a result of our August workshop’s success, Mobile Health is offering a free encore workshop, “Promoting Flu Vaccines at the Workplace,” on September 12 with morning and afternoon sessions.

The workshop is designed to help educate attendees on effective methods for coordinating an on-site flu shot clinic, overcoming objections and increasing employee vaccination rates.

If you couldn’t make it to the August workshop, this is your chance to join us and learn about best-practice techniques for developing and promoting a flu shot program at your workplace. This workshop is open to the public, you do not need to be a Mobile Health client to attend.

We will provide participants with a flu shot promotional kit, printed and emailed, that includes answers to common objections and misconceptions about the flu shot, techniques for setting up and promoting worksite clinics, templates for communication with employees, pre-printed posters and flyers from the CDC and more.

The return on investment of arranging a flu shot program isn’t difficult to realize, considering that estimates place the annual cost of the flu to US businesses at around 90 billion dollars, 10.4 billion of which is in direct costs for hospitalizations and outpatient visits.

How many of your employees got vaccinated last year? What’s your goal for this year? These are questions that should yield definite answers. Join us and equip your company with the means to maximize your employees’ vaccination rate and maintain a healthy, productive workforce.
